Like the garden, the inside of the house was in an original kitchen. This is what really attracted us to the house in the first place but modernisation was definitely overdue.

The kitchen had the original wood stove - this was used by the previous owner for both cooking and heating. Cupboard spaced was minimal andthe benchtops and sink were at a lower than usual height. Off the kitchen was a small laundry that we decided to tranform into a pantry.
